Student Is Now the Teacher
Tatee Sakr's path to success in the fashion world started at Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ. As a 19-year-old immigrant to the U.S., Sakr chose Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ because it was close to her new home in Cleveland and had a reputable fashion design program. Now an industry professional, she is giving back as a key faculty member.

Fashion design major Kaleigh McGreal has been sharing her story with Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ State Today through her final two semesters at Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ State in our "Year with a Flash" series. ‘Dazzling Day and Night’ Pairs with Old Hollywood Style as New Exhibits Debut at Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ State
The Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ Museum celebrated the opening of two new fashion collection exhibits, one of which honors the Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ State School of Fashion’s founders and another the style of Hollywood legend Katharine Hepburn. During the celebration, retiring museum director Sarah Rogers was honored, and incoming director Sarah Spinner Liska, Ph.D., was introduced.

Alumni Macy Hudson was just named Miss Ohio USA and will compete for Miss USA, while Caitlin Seifert, named Miss Northern Ohio, is competing for a spot the Miss America competition.
