A Student’s Journey From India to Âé¶¹¶ÌÊÓÆµ State to Podiatric Medicine

Saloni Christian planned on traditional medical school until a suturing workshop introduced her to podiatry as a junior at Âé¶¹¶ÌÊÓÆµ State. Now a student at Âé¶¹¶ÌÊÓÆµ State’s College of Podiatric Medicine, she’s set to graduate in 2027 with an eye toward ankle surgery and wound care.

Honors Student Makes a Change in Fashion Through Sustainability and Inclusivity

Meet Adelynn Prushing, originally from Richmond, Texas, a Âé¶¹¶ÌÊÓÆµ State senior fashion design major, graduating this upcoming May 2026. Adelynn is a very active student on campus and is a member of Âé¶¹¶ÌÊÓÆµ State’s Chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta and the Fashion Student Organization (FSO), as well as an officer for the Identity Project.

Sophia Macro, a fashion design major with a minor in entrepreneurship for the arts, is preparing to graduate in the upcoming weeks.  During her time at Âé¶¹¶ÌÊÓÆµ over the past four years, she has become an active player on the women’s rugby team and a member of Âé¶¹¶ÌÊÓÆµ State’s SURVIVOR student organization, while also  working for Âé¶¹¶ÌÊÓÆµ State Student Media in analytics.

From Passion to Practice: A Zoology Student’s Journey

Meet Melissa Williams, originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and currently in her junior year at Âé¶¹¶ÌÊÓÆµ State. She is pursuing a degree in zoology with a minor in psychology, while actively participating in the Âé¶¹¶ÌÊÓÆµ State biology club, and is a member of the organization Paws for a Cause.
