Directions

The Design Innovation Hub is located at on the Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ Campus. When arriving by car we recommend navigating to our . 


From Central Campus & Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ State Student Center:

  1. Head northwest on the Esplanade towards Front Campus.
  2. Continue straight for .3 miles until you reach the intersection with Janik Drive
  3. The DI HUB will be located on your right directly across Janik Drive.
  4. Enter the building (3rd floor) and proceed down the main stairs to access the DI HUB's classrooms and event spaces (2nd floor) or makerspaces (1st floor).

From Downtown Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ:

  1. Start on Main Street (OH-59) heading east.
  2. After about .75 miles, turn right onto Midway Drive.
  3. Turn right onto Terrace Drive.
  4. After about .2 miles, turn left after Oscar Ritchie Hall.
  5. Follow the drive into parking lot R-19.

From I-76:

  1. Take exit 33 for OH-43 toward Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ/Hartville.
  2. Turn north onto OH-43 (Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ Road) and continue into Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ.
  3. After about 5 miles, turn right onto Summit Street.
  4. After about .5 mile, turn left onto Terrace Drive.
  5. After about .2 miles, turn right after the Center for Visual Arts (CVA).
  6. Follow the drive into parking lot R-19.  

 

Parking

There are a number of parking options available when visiting the Design Innovation Hub at Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ. Please note that parking may be limited during regular business hours. For additional information and detailed parking maps, please visit Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ's official parking website. 

Metered Parking (Lot R-19)

Location: Four metered spots are available directly in front of the DI Hub in .

Rates: $1.25 per hour (unless otherwise posted).

Payment: Meters accept coin and credit card payments.

Availability: These spots are in high demand, so availability is limited. 

Passport Parking Zone

Location: Thirteen Passport Parking Zone spots are located along Terrace Drive in front of . The Passport Parking Zone is a one-minute walk from the DI Hub.

Rates: $1.25 per hour (unless otherwise posted).

Payment: Use the Passport Parking app or visit ppprk.com; credit card payments accepted with a $0.30 transaction fee.

Availability: These spots are in high demand, so availability is limited.

Student Center Visitor's Lot

Location: Located on Summit St. near the . The Student Center Visitor's Lot is an eight-minute walk from the DI Hub.

Rates: 1st Hour: $2.50, 2nd Hour: $2.50, 3rd Hour: $1.25, 4th Hour: $1.25; $7.50 maximum rate per visit.

Payment: Credit card only, available at exit kiosks, free-standing kiosks, or on your mobile device.

Free Parking: Weekends beginning at 6pm on Friday.

Parking Permits

Location: DI Hub .

Rates: $4 for a one-day visitor’s permit (location based on availability), $30 for a semester-long Evening and Weekend visitor’s permit.

Payment: Purchasable from KSU Parking Services. Cash, check, or credit card accepted.
