Ken Ditlevson, director of Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ State's LGBTQ+ Center, was one of the volunteers adding rainbows to both sides of the Main Street Bridge in downtown Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ.
Volunteers decorated Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ's Main Street Bridge on Monday in preparation for Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ's Rainbow Weekend on Oct. 13-14. The rainbows downtown also celebrate National Coming Out Day on Oct. 11.
One of the highlights of the Rainbow Weekend's is the eighth annual Rainbow Run presented by Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ's LGBTQ+ Center. This 5K helps raise money to replenish Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ State's LGBTQ+ Emergency Fund, which supports Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ State LGBTQ+ students in crisis.
