Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ State launches Adobe Creative Commons tutoring space

In March 2024, Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ announced that Adobe approved Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ State as an Adobe Creative Campus. As one of only 90 institutions worldwide and one of only three in Ohio to earn the Adobe Creative Campus designation, this title is an important distinction for Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ State. To earn the Creative Campus partnership with Adobe, a university must complete extensive evaluations and processes to display a commitment to digital literacy. As part of Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ State’s commitment to digital literacy students, faculty and staff have free access to the Adobe Express suite of tools, available at .

Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ State is expanding the impact of the Adobe Creative Campus designation by opening a physical space, the Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ State Adobe Creative Commons, in partnership with the Student Multimedia Studio on the first floor of the Library. The Creative Commons will serve as a space where Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ State students, faculty and staff can learn more about Adobe software and have their questions answered by a Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ State Student who has been accepted into the Adobe Student Ambassador program.

To celebrate the opening of the Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ State Adobe Creative Commons, the Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ State Division of Information Technology, in partnership with Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ State Libraries, is holding an Adobe Day on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024. The Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ State community is invited to the ribbon cutting for the Commons, which will be held at 10 a.m. on Aug. 29, with light refreshments. Adobe Day will feature Webinars from Adobe’s Eric Rouse on AI and Adobe Express. Please join us for Adobe SWAG giveaways, tours of the Creative Commons and Student Multimedia Studio.
