Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ State Student Media has been selected as a featured fund for Giving Tuesday, creating exciting opportunities for alumni and supporters to make an impact on the next generation of journalists and media professionals.

More than 80 Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ Stater alumni RSVP’d to celebrate a milestone a century in the making: 100 years of student journalism. At Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ State’s Homecoming 2026 parade, alumni served as grand marshals, rode on two floats and walked alongside fellow alumni to celebrate the newspaper that connects generations of student journalists.

Inside Franklin Hall, Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ public relations students turned ambition into national recognition as the public relations major approaches its 80th anniversary. Building a tradition of excellence, the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) marked 15 consecutive years as a nationally recognized Star Chapter, a milestone made even more impactful as recent public relations graduates Julia Greco and Paige Johnson earned National Gold Key Awards.
