Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ held its annual Veterans Day observance on Thursday, Nov. 6, at 11 a.m. on the StudentGreen at Risman Plaza. The outdoor program, called Honoring All Who Serve, included a flag-raising ceremony conducted by a joint color guard from the Army and Air Force ROTC programs, and remarks from Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ State President Beverly Warren. Chief Petty Officer Timothy S. Flannery was the guest speaker for this event.
All were invited to come and pay tribute to America’s veterans. A special invitation was extended to Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ State faculty, staff, students and community members who are veterans, active service members or who have family members in the military. A reception was held in the Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ Student Center Kiva lobby following the program.
